- Drop off finished greenware to be bisque fired. Must be at least leather hard. Place on the shelf that will have a sign that says "Greenware". Place your pieces as far back and close together as possible to minimize the number of times they need to be touched - they do not need any breathing room...
- Drop off finished glaze ware: If you have your own glazes at home you are welcome to apply them and bring pieces in to be fired. Proof of the clay and glaze firing temps must be shown at drop-off - easiest is a picture of the labels.
- Pick up fired bisque or glaze ware finished previously.
- Pick up clay, tools, underglazes, glazes, etc. We have a small selection of tools and materials available to purchase.

- Email heather@burnishclaystudio.com with 2 date/time options for when you would like to come glaze and I will let you know which one is available for you. An appointment is only necessary the 1st time to give you an orientation of the glazing area of the studio. Once you are familiar with our processes then you can typically come in anytime during our retail hours, although not during class times.
- If you are new to clay and do not have the necessary experience then we suggest you purchase commercial glazes that you can paint on at home. We do not currently have the capacity to provide glazing classes.
- Look specifically for firing ranges of Cone 4-6, NOT 04-06 - that 0 in front is a critical difference between low fire and mid-temp firing range. Firing low temperature glaze to mid-range temperature will end with your piece having to be removed from the kiln shelf with a hammer, and possibly with the added expense of replacing our kiln shelf.
